Freddie Slater joins VAR in Italian F4 championship

Zeewolde, September 27, 2023 - Van Amersfoort Racing is happy to announce that Freddie Slater will join its Italian F4 lineup for the upcoming events at Mugello and the season finale in Vallelunga.

At just 15 years old, Freddie has had an impressive racing career so far. Starting like many in karting, the British driver went on to the Ginetta Junior Championship where he became champion this season.

Next to this, Freddie also made his single-seater debut participating in both the British F4 and EURO 4 Championships. He impressed many as he won in Monza just under two weeks ago, taking his first win in Formula 4.

"I am very excited to embark on this new journey with Van Amersfoort Racing.” Says Freddie. “The team and I have been preparing for these upcoming two events, and I cannot wait to get started this weekend in Mugello."
