Newman Chi, born in Wenzhou, China, is a young racing driver that competes in The Macau Grand Prix FIA FR World Cup with VAR. He is a promising driver, joining the team with previous experience in karting, having started in the sport when he was 5. After moving to Europe, his career further developed.
He has competed in various Formula 4 championships throughout 2025, the Formula Regional European Championship and GB3, both also in that same year. His most notable achievement has been his 5th place in the Italian F4 championship, coming in with 162 points, 1 win and 4 podiums total.
Newman is now preparing to drive for VAR in Macau.
