Performance Engineer - F4

Van Amersfoort Racing is seeking a Performance Engineer for our F4 team who will bring our cars to the next level!

About the Role

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented F4 Performance Engineer to ensure our cars are built and maintained to the highest possible standards. You will be the link between our mechanics and our race-engineers, ensuring our cars are the absolute best on the grid.

Responsibilities

Supervise the F4 team mechanics and ensure cars are built and maintained to the highest standards
In charge of spare parts inventory and purchasing
Monitors history and mileage of the cars and spare parts
In charge of technical development, within the F4 regulations
Making sure we maximize car performance
In charge of testing and preparing parts, for example damper dyno testing
Support our race-engineers where necessary

About You

MBO or HBO level of education in engineering
Experience in both engineering and hands on mechanical work in a competitive motorsport environment
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Proactive mind with a problem-solving attitude
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a bonus but not essential
Living in the Netherlands or willing to relocate
