Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) is pleased to announce that Andrea Dupe will join the team for the 2026 Formula Regional European Championship. The French driver will continue his single-seater journey with the Dutch team after his first F4 season last year.

Andrea began his motorsport journey at the age of eleven, gaining experience across a range of national and international karting championships. After taking his first steps in Spain, he moved into the OK Junior category in 2022, where he started to establish himself against strong international competition. In 2023, Andrea continued his progression in karting and finished the season as vice-champion of Italy in the OK category, rounding off his karting career on a high before making the move into cars.

A major event happened in 2024, where Andrea was selected to participate in the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy. He posted the fastest time in the pre-selection test and finished fourth in the final shoutout at Jerez. The experience provided a strong reference point as he prepared for his move into single-seater racing.

In early 2025, the driver kicked-off his first single-seater championship in the Formula Winter Series where he achieved multiple top three finishes in the rookie classification, including a best result of 8th overall and 2nd among rookies. He then started the 2025 Italian F4 Championship and committed to a full campaign in the 2025 E4 Championship. Andrea is currently competing in the Formula Regional Middle East Trophy, gaining his first experiences in Formula Regional machinery ahead of the European season.

For the next step in his career, Andrea will join Van Amersfoort Racing for the 2026 Formula Regional European Championship. Having gained already some experience in Formula Regional machinery, this will be a significant step forward in his career. The goal will be to continue his development together with the team and building towards the next steps of his racing career.

Andrea Dupe – Formula Regional driver, Van Amersfoort Racing:
"I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Van Amersfoort Racing for the upcoming season. Stepping up to FRECA is a major milestone in my career, and doing it with such a prestigious team makes it even more special. VAR has been a top contender in this category for many years, but what truly stands out to me is the atmosphere—it’s a team where you immediately feel like part of a family. I can’t wait to get started and give my best for the colors of the team.”

Brad Joyce – Team Principal, Van Amersfoort Racing:
“We’re pleased to welcome Andrea to Van Amersfoort Racing for the 2026 Formula Regional European Championship. He has progressed well through junior series and is currently gaining valuable mileage in Formula Regional machinery in the Middle East. Formula Regional Europe is a demanding step, and we’re looking forward to working closely with Andrea as he prepares for the season and continues his development with the team.”

Van Amersfoort Racing looks forward to welcoming Andrea into the team and working closely with him as he will start his first season in the Formula Regional European Championship.
