Van Amersfoort Racing Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Special Open Day Event
Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR), one of Europe’s most iconic racing teams, proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025. To mark this significant milestone, the team is opening the doors of its headquarters in Zeewolde for a special VAR50 Open Day on Saturday, 23 August 2025.
For five decades, Van Amersfoort Racing has played a vital role in the careers of countless talented drivers, competing at the highest levels of junior single-seater racing. From Formula 4 to FIA Formula 2, VAR’s black and orange cars have become a familiar sight on racetracks across the world.
The VAR50 Open Day offers fans, partners, and racing enthusiasts a unique opportunity to step inside the world of Van Amersfoort Racing and experience up close what five decades of racing success look like. Visitors will get exclusive access to the team’s workshop and see the race cars up close. Throughout the day, there will be interactive activities and displays for all ages, making it a must-visit event for motorsport fans.
Each ticket includes two drinks and one food item, with visitors also getting the chance to purchase limited edition VAR50 merchandise. On-site parking is free of charge. Please note that there is no public transport to the venue on Saturdays, so visitors are advised to plan their journey accordingly.
Tickets are priced at €29,95 per person and are available through time slots. Due to limited capacity, early registration is highly recommended. Tickets are available via our ticket shop.
