Van Amersfoort Racing Celebrates 50 Years with Exclusive Anniversary Book
Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) proudly announces the release of “50 Years of Van Amersfoort Racing”, the definitive book capturing five decades of passion, perseverance, and performance in motorsport. You can order now, every copy includes a signature by Frits van Amersfoort and Rob Niessink. Fans that bought the book in the pre-sale, who prefer a more personal touch, are invited to Zeewolde on Saturday November 29 between 10:00 and 15:00, to meet them and collect their signed copy in person.
The story of Van Amersfoort Racing began when Frits van Amersfoort made his debut in motorsport as a mechanic for Huub Rothengatter. From that moment onwards, what started as a small passion project evolved into one of the most respected and recognized racing teams in international motorsport.
The large-format publication tells the full story of the team’s journey from 1975 to today, featuring hundreds of photos, personal anecdotes, and behind-the-scenes insights from those who have been part of its history. From the early days of Frits van Amersfoort’s first steps in motorsport to the team’s current presence across multiple international single-seater championships, the book reflects the passion and teamwork that have defined VAR for half a century.
Each of the 304 pages offers a look back at unforgettable races, defining moments, and the countless people who contributed to the team’s progress over the years. It’s both a celebration of the past and a tribute to everyone who helped shape what Van Amersfoort Racing has become today, which was made possible by Amgini – who created the book.
Every copy of this special edition will be personally signed by Frits van Amersfoort and Rob Niessink.
