Strong Monza Weekend for Van Amersfoort Racing with F2 Points and F3 Podium

Van Amersfoort Racing delivered a competitive performance at the iconic Monza Circuit, securing a points finish in Formula 2 and a podium in Formula 3. With consistent pace and strong execution across both categories, the team continued to build momentum during a productive weekend in Italy.

Points finish for Varrone in competitive Monza weekend 

Round ten of the 2026 FIA Formula 2 Championship took place at the iconic Monza Circuit, where VAR delivered a solid performance. Nico Varrone showed strong racecraft throughout the weekend, finishing just outside the points in Saturday’s Sprint Race before securing 10th place in Sunday’s Feature Race. His result added another valuable championship point for the team. 

Rafael Villagómez completed both races in 17th and 19th, showing consistent pace in a tightly packed midfield. 

Podium for Yamakoshi and strong points across both races 

Van Amersfoort Racing delivered a competitive weekend in Formula 3 at Monza, highlighted by a podium finish and multiple top‑ten results. 

Starting from a strong position, Hiyu Yamakoshi impressed in Saturday’s Sprint Race, fighting at the front from the opening laps and securing a well‑deserved third‑place podium. He carried this momentum into Sunday’s Feature Race, where he delivered another solid performance to finish sixth. 

Teammates Enzo Deligny and Bruno Del Pino added to the team’s success, finishing 8th and 10th in the Sprint Race, followed by 9th and 12th in the Feature Race, completing a consistent and productive weekend for the team. 

With these results, Van Amersfoort Racing now sits fourth in the Teams’ Championship on 155 points heading into the final round. In the Drivers’ standings, Hiyu Yamakoshi holds 7th place with 71 points, Bruno Del Pino is 11th with 50 points, and Enzo Deligny is 16th with 34 points. 

Next weekend, the championship concludes in Madrid, where the season finale features three races instead of the usual two, offering one final opportunity to score big points and strengthen the team’s position in the standings.
