Rafael Modonese joins Van Amersfoort Racing for EURO 4 campaign

Zeewolde, September 12, 2023 – Van Amersfoort Racing is excited to announce that Rafael Modonese will join its EURO 4 lineup for the upcoming two events at Monza and Barcelona.

Rafael who's been active in multiple European karting Championships over the past few years is now ready to make a step up in his racing career. The 16-year-old driver will do so by making his single-seater racing debut in the EURO 4 Championship this weekend with Van Amersfoort Racing.

The Championship consists of three European rounds, with two rounds still to go this weekend in Monza, and the season finale next month in Barcelona. 

"The team and I have been carefully preparing for my debut in EURO 4." Says Rafael. "It is a big step in my career, and I am eager to learn all about these cars. I cannot wait to kick off my first race weekend together with the team!"
