  • Dominant seizoenseinde brengt derde hoofdprijs

    Van Amersfoort Racing heeft het seizoen in stijl afgesloten. Tijdens de negende en laatste ronde van het Duitse F3 kampioenschap won het raceteam uit Huizen beide wedstrijden op de Hockenheimring. Van Amersfoort Racing voegde bovendien de derde hoofdprijs toe aan het toch al succesvolle seizoen: de kampioenstitel voor teams in de ATS F3 Cup.

Van Amersfoort Racing

Van Amersfoort Racing, the Dutch raceteam, also known as VAR, has over 30 years of experience in autosport. Van Amersfoort Racing won over 90 races and obtained 15 Dutch and International titles, especially in single seater racing. Big names as Dutch former F1-drivers Jos Verstappen, Huub Rothengatter and Christijan Albers made school at Van Amersfoort Racing, as did other successful drivers, such as Guido van der Garde, Renger van der Zande, Carlo van Dam and 2009 German F3 champion, Laurens Vanthoor.
The team has a tremendous workshop in Huizen (Holland) with 8 fulltime and professional employees. This includes not only the technical staff, but also an experienced marketing and PR division. Former staff members of Van Amersfoort Racing made it to F1-teams, such as Sauber, BAR and Benetton.

Van Amersfoort Racing is the most successful single seater race team in The Netherlands. The team won a lot of national and international championships. 2009 was the best season in the history of the team in Huizen. VAR won the ATS Formula 3 championship, the Rookie title, the Vice championship, the Speed championship and the Best Team Award.
