• Van Amersfoort Racing op oorlogsterkte in ATS Formule 3 kampioenschap

    Volkswagen start komend jaar een offensief tegen de gevestigde Formule 3-fabrikanten. In de Formule 3 EuroSeries, het Duits en het Brits kampioenschap, zet VW vol in op de aanval. Net als vorig jaar komt ook Van Amersfoort Racing in actie met de motoren van VW. Vicekampioen Stef Dusseldorp staat aan de start voor het Nederlandse team, evenals de Duitser Daniel Abt en de Oostenrijker Willi Steindl.

  • Stef Dusseldorp neemt Rookie of the Year prijs in ontvangst

    Kort voor de start van het nieuwe seizoen werd er nog een keer terug gekeken op het seizoen 2009 van de ATS Formel 3 Cup. In het Duitse Mainz vond afgelopen zaterdag de prijsuitreiking plaats van de AvD Speed-Pokal en de ZF - auto motor und sport  - Juniorpokal.

  • Kalender ATS Formel 3 Cup 2010

    Het seizoen 2010 bestaat uit 9 evenementen met elk twee races. De ATS Formel 3 Cup maakt in 2010 wederom deel uit van het ADAC Masters Weekend. In het  ADAC Masters Weekend zullen tevens de ADAC GT Masters, ADAC Formel Masters en de ADAC Procar Series uitkomen. De formule talenten uit de ATS Formel 3 Cup zullen alle permanente racecircuits in Duitsland aandoen. Tevens vinden er twee evenementen plaats op het TT Circuit van Assen.

  • Daniel Abt in 2010 bij Van Amersfoort Racing in de Formule 3

    De volgende carrière stap van de Duitser Daniel Abt is een feit. De kampioen uit de ADAC Formel Masters maakt de overstap naar de ATS Formel 3 Cup. In 2010 zal de 16 jarige inwoner van het Duitse Kempten een Dallara Volkswagen besturen bij Van Amersfoort Racing.

Van Amersfoort Racing

Van Amersfoort Racing, the Dutch raceteam, also known as VAR, has over 30 years of experience in autosport. Van Amersfoort Racing won over 90 races and obtained 15 Dutch and International titles, especially in single seater racing. Big names as Dutch former F1-drivers Jos Verstappen, Huub Rothengatter and Christijan Albers made school at Van Amersfoort Racing, as did other successful drivers, such as Guido van der Garde, Renger van der Zande, Carlo van Dam and 2009 German F3 champion, Laurens Vanthoor.
The team has a tremendous workshop in Huizen (Holland) with 8 fulltime and professional employees. This includes not only the technical staff, but also an experienced marketing and PR division. Former staff members of Van Amersfoort Racing made it to F1-teams, such as Sauber, BAR and Benetton.

Formula 3 Champions 2009
Van Amersfoort Racing is the most successful single seater race team in The Netherlands. The team won a lot of national and international championships. 2009 was the best season in the history of the team in Huizen. VAR won the ATS Formula 3 championship, the Rookie title, the Vice championship, the Speed championship and the Best Team Award.
